BMW gatecrashes the party as the #25 BMW Motorsport car moves into third place and the #99 Audi is demoted to fifth and fading with transmission trouble. The #43 Ferrari now occupies fourth place. The #2 Audi is behind the #9 Porsche as it works an out lap in second place, being 5:29.3 adrift on lap 102. Eight hours left to go.
