Audi and Porsche into the end game

We're back to serious thrashing at the front with the times dipping into the 8:40s. The Abt Audi #2 is being driven hard and has reached second place with car #99 Audi running behind, both cars being on the same out lap. The #99 Audi has spent some time in the pits and has suddenly dropped a lap after a lengthy delay. The #25 BMW is getting a move on and running a lap down but may move into the top three. The #9 Porsche has also pitted so the order may change imminently. The battle that has raged through the night is set to continue with the focus of Audi switching to the #2 car. The balance of the race seems to have swung back in favour of Porsche, but there are still nine hours left to run.
