Qualifying finally got underway at 19:25 this evening. Two Lola Aston Martins #008 of Darren Turner and #009 of Peter Kox were quickly on track in the early going. Darren Turner has already turned in lap of 3:32.412. Two Peugeots have just gone quickest with #8 Montagny in 3.25.608. First qualifying will end at 21:25; second qualifying will start at 22:00.
In car #39 the Lola-Mazda there will be a planned engine/gearbox change tomorrow which will be tested in the warm-up on Saturday morning. Hideki Noda is currently on track. There is a very good crowd here for a Thursday; conditions are warm and overcast. RLT.
