Problems in the morning warm-up for the #39 Flex-Box Lola with oil leaking from the turbo, restricting Matthew Marsh to one lap only. The session has now finished and the car is being worked on.
The grandstands across from the press box are gradually filling up. Signs within sight include "Jos the Boss" for Jos Verstappen in the #008 Aston Martin and for Olivier Panis in the #11 Oreca.
There are two support races this morning, the first being the Le Mans Legends with much British interest. The cars are lining up diagonally on the pit side for departure but no drivers running across the track as in days of old. The race is now underway.
