Half full or half empty

This race is turning into a cracker. Less than a second was separating the first two cars after nearly twelve hours of racing with the cars circulating nose-to-tail, both pitting together on lap 75. Drama as the #9 Manthey Porsche exited the pits in the dark as the #99 Audi pulled away to a 25.2 second lead on lap 76.
The #2 Audi of Abt/Collard/Luhr/Mies remains on the lead lap in third. The Farnbacher Ferrari is one lap down with the BMWs, #25 and #78, running two laps down.
The gap on lap 77 for the lead remained steady at 25.5 secs. RLT.
