19.47 - Latest update is that the car went off the road at Ex-Muhle, damaging the front and back of the car.
It is being brought back to the pits but Matthew thinks it is unlikely to be repairable.
He is unsure what happened, he was just driving to his rhythm and he could not see any oil down at the corner, the car understeered off into the barrier and then spun round, damaging the rear.
We will update you later but it seems Car 51 may be out of the 2009 Nurburgring 24 Hours.
