We are back at the circuit and Car 51 is at the workshop. Matthew is with us in the press room, and there do not appear to be any bits missing / broken.
He is now waiting for the Monaco GP to start !!

Out on track, through the night the Audi / Manthey Porsche battle continued unabated up until 11.00 am local time, but in the last hour, the lead battle has changed dramatically.

The lead Audi, car no 99 has been in the pits and lost 6 laps. It is still there and has fallen to 8th place

This has left Audi no 97 in 2nd place and no 98 in 5th. The rest of the top 10 are all Porsches - Manthey 1st and 3rd, Alzen 4th and the Sabine Schmidt car in 6th.

The SP6 leading BMW Z4M of Claudia Hurtgen expired during the night with engine failure, the same fate befell the Ford GT which had shown so well during the early stages.
SP6 is being led by another Z4M - car 69.

UPDATE - 12.38 . Car 99 has rejoined the race in 8th place
